This is one of my favorite old car videos I’ve found on YouTube. This clip is from a documentary about the 1967 Monte Carlo Rally, presented by Mr. Motor Racing himself, Stirling Moss. This era of rallying is probably my favorite, when rally cars were still actual production cars and not purpose-built monsters. Cars like the Mini, the Renault 8, and the Lancia Fulvia were normal cars that were amazingly quick in the right hands. The footage of these cars sliding on the ice is so rad (sliding a front-wheel drive car like that isn’t easy). Stirling also drives a Lancia Fulvia and almost gets into a head-on collision.
