Unfortunately I missed last weeks video due to my birthday, but I have come back with another awesome video. This weeks video is from the documentary “Moss on the Monte”, which was hosted by Stirling Moss and featured the 1967 Monte Carlo Rally. This was before the creation of the WRC, and well before rally would become a popular sport. There is some awesome footage of Lancia Fulvia’s, Minis and Renaults sliding around on the ice. And Sir Stirling nearly hits another car while driving and talking to camera at the 50 second mark. This clip also features an interview with Stuart Turner, who ran Mini’s factory team, and Marie-Claude Beaumont, who was one of the best female drivers in rally, and even made won the Spa 24 Hours in 1967.
